Regarding the tests: I have reviewed the Clipboard project’s tests. They require a GUI, a sound system, external utilities (wl-clipboard/xclip), and a specific environment, which makes them unsuitable for running in a clean build environment (pbuilder/sbuild). They are intended for manual testing after installation, not for automated verification during package build. It’s better not to use them in dh_auto_test or autopkgtest.
