the update to this version yesterday overwrode all config files in /etc/cups with the default settings, so all printers except the PDF printer are lost. Even the *.0 files had the same content. I cannot remember apt asking me whether cups should use the default files. If that were the case, wouldn't apt have created a backup of the previous files? Fortunately, I had a backup.
