I was wondered too, my /dev/dsp exists. Most times I'm listening to
music about XMMS at the background, but I'm using alsa and my soundcard
supports hardwaremixing.
I stopped all firefox processes and entered after that the command
MOZ_DISABLE_PANGO=1 firefox, it has got effects, my fonts were displayed
clearlier ;)
I will try your other commands but it's hard to reproduce this problem, it's
very random.
The last crash came where I entered http://www.kernel.org , that were the
errors from my
last post.
