Package: gnome-screensaver Version: 0.0.24-2 Severity: normal I'm using gnome-screensaver in the "carousel" mode, using a selection of my digital pictures in JPEG format. Some of them are taken in "portrait" (vertical) orientation. This information is encoded in the EXIF metadata section of the image files, and programs such as F-Spot are able to interpret it and display the image appropriately rotated. The screensaver doesn't seem to be able to do so.
