Upstream has released 2.12.1 (https://github.com/confluentinc/librdkafka/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md). It would be helpful to have this in unstable because it looks as though python-confluent-kafka 2.12.1 requires it, and that seems to be needed to support Python 3.14 (https://bugs.debian.org/1117901); I did test python-confluent-kafka 2.11.1 with Python 3.14 just in case, and it fails.
