Dear maintainers,

today tried to compile hydra version from trixie, which is 9.5 (the latest
version is 9.6) including smb2/3 support.

The results:

- hydra compiled without any errors

- hydra-gtk compiled without any errors

Both binaries worked well!

Prerequesits wee, I had to manually add the packages "libsmbclient-dev" (for
smb2/3 support) and "libgtk-2.0-dev" (for building xhydra).

However, as I am not well experienced with debian-packagaing procedure, I
failed in creating the package correctly.

Using dpkg-buildpackage, I got a package, but xhydra was not in it. I suppose,
the reason for it, is some missing entry for xhydra in some configurations.

I also would like to add the two packages above mentioned as dependencies by
default.

It would be nice, if this could be solved by the package maintainers.

Everything I mentioned here was also tested with hydra version 9.6, in case
the maintainers want upload a newer version.

I hope, this helps a little bit.

At the moment, as I am a little bit lost, my solution is to copy the two
binaries manually to /usr/bin, which is working, but of course a bad solutuin.

Thanks for your help.

Best regards

Hans
