Package: haveged Version: 1.9.19-12 Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: [email protected]
Dear Maintainer, after upgrading to Debian Trixie, haveged (1.9.19-12) no longer starts on boot (it used to work fine up to and including Bookworm). I'm using sysvinit (not systemd), and it seems the cause is that /etc/init.d/haveged is no longer present in the package. I've manualy copied /etc/init.d/haveged from Bookworm version (haveged_1.9.14-1+b1_arm64.deb) and that makes it start up normally again. Would you please consider re-including support for systemv init script again?
