AMD is working on it, and it will be a proper solution with good UX, where the kernel will do the right thing when we send it microcode update data for both old and new BIOSes. Meanwhile, users on new BIOS can directly download the data files from linux-firmware and replace the ones in their systems, and run update-iniramfs -u (or dracut, etc). -- Henrique de Moraes Holschuh <h...@debian.org>
