After a (short) while (about May 2025, IIRC), LOBase was functional again ; I did not pay attention to the fact that no message was sent about the present bug report...
The same problem reappeared after yesterday's (2025-09-11) update to testing. Launching from my usual shortcut, LOBase opens on the "Forms" page of this database. Opening the data input form results in an error, a,d a dialog box offering me to recover the .odb document. Accepting this returns to the "Forms" page of the document. * Opening another form gives the same behaviour. * Similarly, trying to open the "Tables" page of the database gives the same result. * Leaving LOBase via "File"/"Quit" works. The same behaviour can be observed when launching from the command line, and I get the following error messages : charpent@brique<mailto:charpent@brique>:/usr/local/sage-10$ lobase ~/Documents/Perso/SuiviMédical/Circulation.odb free(): invalid pointer (soffice:1105084): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: 10:01:23.311: g_object_get_qdata: assertion 'G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed Googling the latter message point me toio variopus pages related to the debugging of various programs, having in common the use og GLib ; this leads me to believe that the message emanates from GLib. Can you suggest a way to submit this problem to Debian's glib maintainers without opening another (superfluous) bug ? Cordially, -- Emmanuel Charpentier
