Package: cinnamon-desktop-data Version: 6.4.1-1 Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: [email protected]
Dear Maintainer, In /usr/share/applications/x-cinnamon-mimeapps.list, the handler specification for mime type application/x-ext-pdf has a typo, "evince.deskto" - note the missing 'p'. This is causing mailcap to complain when running its mime update triggers after apt upgrade: $ [snipped apt output] Preparing to unpack .../archives/mailcap_3.75_all.deb ... Unpacking mailcap (3.75) over (3.75) ... Setting up mailcap (3.75) ... Warning: 'application/x-ext-pdf' had non-desktop association 'evince.deskto' Processing triggers for man-db (2.13.1-1) ... Looks like this typo has been present since x-cinnamon-mimeapps.list was introduced, and therefore the find/replace that updated evince.desktop to org.gnome.Evince.desktop missed this entry. I assume this entry should be updated to org.gnome.Evince.desktop as well. -- System Information: Debian Release: forky/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 6.16.3+deb14-amd64 (SMP w/12 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_OOT_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages cinnamon-desktop-data depends on: ii dconf-gsettings-backend [gsettings-backend] 0.40.0-5 ii xfconf-gsettings-backend [gsettings-backend] 4.20.0-1 cinnamon-desktop-data recommends no packages. cinnamon-desktop-data suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
