Package: bird3 Version: 3.1.0 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
Bird3 sometimes crashes with an assertion as described in https://trubka.network.cz/pipermail/bird-users/2025-May/018192.html . This issue is already patched, but this package version is not available in Debian Trixie. I experienced this panic with default configuration, thus I marked it "important". -- System Information: Debian Release: 13.0 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.12.41+deb13-amd64 (SMP w/6 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages bird3 depends on: ii adduser 3.152 ii libc6 2.41-12 ii libreadline8t64 8.2-6 ii libssh-4 0.11.2-1 ii libtinfo6 6.5+20250216-2 ii ucf 3.0052 bird3 recommends no packages.
