Package: phpmyadmin Version: 4:2.8.0.3-1 Severity: important
I'v upgraded phpmyadmin few days ago. I've just tried to make a dump from one of my databases. I've selected the usual options and saved the dump into a local file. The following page is saved instead of the SQL dump: ------------------------ cut here -------------------------- <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="hu" lang="hu" dir="ltr"> <head> <link rel="icon" href="./favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon" /> <link rel="shortcut icon" href="./favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon" /> <title>phpMyAdmin</title> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" /> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="./css/phpmyadmin.css.php?&js_frame=right" /> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="./css/print.css?" media="print" /> </head><body><p>export.php: Missing parameter: what <a href="./Documentation.html#faqmissingparameters" target="d ocumentation"> (FAQ 2.8)</a><br />export.php: Missing parameter: export_type <a href="./Documentation.html#faqmis singparameters" target="documentation"> (FAQ 2.8)</a><br /></p></body></html> ------------------------ cut here -------------------------- Dumping the database into the browser works fine. The bug seems to affect only the download functionality. Selecting compression saves the file with .gz extension but with the same, uncompressed contents shown above. The bug disappears when I dump only table structure without data. To reproduce the bug select Data dump with INSERTs and no other options enabled in the Data section. You can drop me a mail if you need more information, tests or dump. Temporary workaround: Dump the database to the browser or use mysqldump form the command line. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16-1-686-smp Locale: LANG=hu_HU, LC_CTYPE=hu_HU (charmap=ISO-8859-2) Versions of packages phpmyadmin depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.2 Debian configuration management sy ii php4 4:4.4.2-1.1 server-side, HTML-embedded scripti ii php4-mysql 4:4.4.2-1.1 MySQL module for php4 ii ucf 2.0012 Update Configuration File: preserv Versions of packages phpmyadmin recommends: ii apache2 2.0.55-4 next generation, scalable, extenda ii apache2-mpm-prefork [httpd] 2.0.55-4 traditional model for Apache2 ii php4-gd 4:4.4.2-1.1 GD module for php4 pn php5-mcrypt | php4-mcrypt <none> (no description available) -- debconf information excluded -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
