Hi, I'd like to request the removal of the vagalume package from testing and unstable. Vagalume was written in 2007 as a music player for the Last.fm streaming service. In 2009 Vagalume added support for Libre.fm, a free software alternative that used the same protocol. The streaming service of Last.fm was discontinued in 2014, the development of Vagalume stopped completely and Libre.fm became the only remaining alternative (as I'm not aware of any other service that used the same protocol). A few months ago the main developer of Libre.fm closed the project. It's still active for existing users but registration is closed forever: https://github.com/mattl/hacienda/discussions/117 In these circumstances I don't think it makes sense to keep Vagalume in Debian, therefore I'm requesting its removal. Vagalume is still available in trixie in case anyone is still using it to play music from Libre.fm. Thanks, Berto
