Hi Frank, In the Vcs-Git repo (pkg-fdm) you have continued the package development (three revisions ahead of sid currently) and this issue is fixed there.
With libpcre3-dev replaced by libpcre2-dev your development version even builds fine with regular expression support. May I ask what is the reason for stopping uploading to Debian? Do you miss a sponsor? I am happy to upload your package to the archive if you want to. Thanks, Bastian
