If firefox is already closed, then it will do nothing when I click a link from another gnome app. If firefox is already running, then it will open a new tab or new window, based on the preference selected in preferred apps. If I prefixed the time command to firefox in preferred apps, how can I see the output? Where does it go? Should I try the LD_LIBRARY_PATH thing as the command to execute when a link is clicked?
