Because this bug (the crash at start) was really bugging us on our EPYC
7443P server as well as another two, I decided to give the unstable
version of btop a try, and it indeed fixes the crash.
It is definitely not a crash that is "rare", at least I could reproduce
it on three servers.
So far, I have not found any adverse effects.
I hope that helps as testing feedback (a new upstream version as NMU is
weird, but the fixed bug is real and made the program basically unusable
before).
