Hi Rene, thanks for the quick reply. It seems it was a side effect of https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1108038 on my system. I am not sure where I collected all nvidia stuff (I don't have any nvidia HW), but I removed it (and added the missing symlink before). Now libreoffice works well again. I noticed it, because okular did not start anymore and showed on the cmdline libEGL.so.1 does not exist. As far as I remember, libreoffice did not give any indication of an issue.
