Source: djbdns Version: 1:1.05-22 Severity: wishlist X-Debbugs-Cc: pe...@7bits.nl
Dear Maintainer, * What led up to the situation? First, trying to build djbdns myself on Trixie and failing miserably. Next, wondering if packages happened to actually exist. Third, finding djbdns-conf and being confused at the point of it if the actual software was not packaged. Fourth, using apt-file to search for individual binaries and realising that axfrdns, tinydns, etc. are all in fact packaged, I just did not find them initially. * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? apt(-cache) search djbdns * What was the outcome of this action? A few packages but not the ones I needed. * What outcome did you expect instead? Seeing all packages from src:djbdns listed. -- System Information: Debian Release: 13.0 APT prefers testing-security APT policy: (500, 'testing-security'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.12.27-amd64 (SMP w/22 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled
