Package: mimedefang Version: 2.56-1 Severity: normal
All Virus Scanners seam to be disabled by default. It would not harm at all to enable all of them as MIMEDefang anyway checks if they exist at startup. So as soon as you would install clamd (or any other supported av) it would work right away. Quick Fix for the moment: Add: $Features{'Virus:CLAMD'} = '/usr/sbin/clamd'; to /etc/mail/mimedefang..conf -Benoit- -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.15-1-686 Locale: LANG=de_CH.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_CH.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages mimedefang depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.1 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 2.3.6-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libdigest-sha1-perl 2.10-1 NIST SHA-1 message digest algorith ii libio-stringy-perl 2.110-1 Perl5 modules for IO from scalars ii libmailtools-perl 1.74-0.1 Manipulate email in perl programs ii libmime-perl 5.420-0.1 Perl5 modules for MIME-compliant m ii libperl5.8 5.8.8-4 Shared Perl library ii libunix-syslog-perl 0.100-4 Perl interface to the UNIX syslog( ii perl [libmime-base64-perl] 5.8.8-4 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction ii psmisc 22.2-1 Utilities that use the proc filesy ii sendmail 8.13.6-1 powerful, efficient, and scalable Versions of packages mimedefang recommends: ii tk8.4 [wish] 8.4.12-1 Tk toolkit for Tcl and X11, v8.4 - -- debconf information: * mimedefang/embedperl: true -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
