Dear Maintainer,

When trying to add a user to a group using mate-user-admin it silently fails.
When running the application in console mode it produces this error.

(mate-user-admin:77076): group-service-WARNING **: 20:05:12.175: add user to
group call failed: GDBus.Error:org.group.admin.Error.Failed: running
'/usr/sbin/groupmems' failed: Failed to execute child process
“/usr/sbin/groupmems” (No such file or directory)

groupmems seems to be offered by the passwd package in bookworm
https://packages.debian.org/bookworm/amd64/passwd/filelist
but not in trixie
https://packages.debian.org/trixie/amd64/passwd/filelist

So it could be a passwd bug too, but at least the dependency seems missing.
