That might be a hint that userspace is also involved in the problem.

I'll try to test these the next time it happens, thanks for the suggestions.
Right now I'm trying to only plug in headphones while I'm booted into a Fedora
42 live ISO. It's possible the tests with F41 failed because its Kernel is from
before these issues started appearing.
