Under GNU screen, iftop renders its UI badly. Without GNU screen,
in the same uxterm, it’s much nicer. There’s no reason this couldn’t
work under GNU screen as well, as e.g. mc handles it well.

TERM=screen

Incidentally, running…

$ sudo env TERM=xterm iftop

… provides me with the full UI, so…
