I've prepared afterstep package compiled with --enable-gdb. You can download it with apt-get using the following line in your /etc/apt/sources.list:
This isn't exactly the same error, but I thought upstream might be happy for a 'Segmentation Fault'? :-)
Oh, upstream is very happy with the log file :)
This happens sporadically, once in a week or two, not too often.
That finally allowed me to nail long standing bug with iconbox not being rearranged properly on windows closure.
And no, I can't reproducide it.
What happen is that if Iconified window is destroyed while still being iconic - stale pointers are being kept in icon box structures, causing all sorts of wierd things, including segfaults.
In this particular case it was dvdrip window.
Anyway - fixed, commited to CVS and AfterStep 2.0.3 is coming out TODAY.
Thanks for input. Sasha Vasko
