I don’t want to make it a pattern but I cannot reproduce your issue. :) It’s of course not reproducible on my Plasma session or I would have noticed, but I did also try from an clean xfce install of trixie, spectacle installed with --no-install-recommends, both with the graphical session started from lightdm and from a VT with startx and it worked fine in all cases. The window just opened normally. If it happens to be due to some configuration of yours you may want to try moving away the following files / folders and trying again : ./.config/kde.org/spectacle.conf ./.config/spectaclerc ./.local/state/spectaclestaterc ./.cache/spectacle Otherwise I’m out of ideas… Happy hacking, -- Aurélien
