Hi Simon! Hi Wolfgang! * Simon Huggins <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> [060530 23:49]:

I'm able to reproduce this bug on my iBook with: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ dpkg -l|grep xfce4-mixer ii xfce4-mixer 4.2.3-2 Xfce4 Mixer frontend ii xfce4-mixer-alsa 4.2.3-2 Xfce4 Mixer ALSA backend Interesting: I configured my panel to include the mixe plugin while starting, and everything seemed to work fine. the panel started up, it showed the plugin, clicking on the icon opened the mixer. However when I removed the mixer from the panel and tried to add it back, the panel crashed, as Wolfang described it. Strace output looks similar to his. However: I'm unable to reproduce this bug on my workstation (which uses 386 architecture and the 4.3.90.1-2 packages). Wolfgang, could you please try to upgrade to the new packages and report, if you can still reproduce the bug with the 4.3x packages?
