Hi, I've updated to the latest geeqie (1:2.5-6 in trixie) and the webp
thumbnails seem to work okay.  The sid changelog doesn't seem to be
relevant to this bug but I can try it later if needed.

I recall I found some kind of workaround for this at the time, hinted by
a self-compiled webp-pixbuf-loader_0.2.4-3-1_amd64.deb.  That has long
been supplanted by 0.2.7-1+b1 without any regressions either.
