Ironically, I totally forgot about the fixed blendsel package (since it's deb-only, it doesn't show up on my usual release radar), but the bug disappeared anyway when I tested: - blendsel 0.8 is deployed in /target; - apt-cache show reports the buggy 0.8 description; - but I got the fixed 0.9 translated description in the installer's interface, courtesy of that file: /var/lib/apt/lists/deb.debian.org_debian_dists_trixie_main_i18n_Translation-fr Discovering this, I initially supposed the description could have been copied from unstable to testing for some reason, despite the package's not having migrated but something else must be happening since I'm seeing this: Description-da: Debian Hamradio (amatørradio, SDR og hobby-radio) [testing] Description-da: Debian Hamradio - amatørradio og hobby-radio [unstable] Description-en: Debian Hamradio (amateur radio, SDR and hobby radio) [testing] Description-en: Debian Hamradio (amateur and hobby radio) [unstable] Description-fr: Debian Hamradio (radio-amateur et radio logicielle) [testing] Description-fr: Debian Hamradio (radio-amateur et radio de loisirs) [unstable] so that doesn't seem to be some unstable→testing sync, but more likely an independent update of the French translation for the trixie version? Anyway, this hid the bug from me, that's why it's only going to get fixed in a further release (i.e. after RC 2), we won't respin images just for this.
