X-Debbugs-Cc: Package Salvaging Team <team+salv...@tracker.debian.org>

Hi Paul,

as lintian reports the Build-Depends should be updated to pkgconf.
Since I know you are maintaining several packages in Debian Games team I
took the freedom to create a repository there and commited a patch[1].

Please note: If you prefer to maintain the package outside Salsa and
not inside the Debian Games team I'll care for removing the repository.
Otherwise, in case you might be happy with team maintenance, I'd
volunteer to update the package to latest packaging standards and do a
team upload once Trixie is released.

Your package was highlighted in the Bug of the Day[2] initiative, which
aims to introduce newcomers to manageable tasks and guide them through
the workflow to solve them. The focus of this initiative is on migrating
packages to Salsa, as it's a great way to familiarize newcomers with a
consistent Git-based workflow. (For sure you are no newcomer at all but
I will link inside the Bug of the Day matrix channel to the patch.)

Kind regards
    Andreas.
