This is on Sarge.
The local change of Samba is only to allow kernel oplocks, nothing more.

But you are right, I modified the initscript myself to use
this /etc/default/winbind.
Sorry for this guys.

So, this bug could be retitled to: allow setting options to winbind's
initscript (in /etc/default). I attached proposals.
