Ah, the postinst script of package xserver-xorg only takes care of
fixing up FontPaths containing /usr/lib/X11/fonts, but not in
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts (though they're pointing to the same location
in the filesystem). I still wonder what's going wrong in Type1/ that
seems to drive nuts the font subsystem as a whole. Passing this on to
the XSF.
