As my first EFI system is currently on the way to me (new work
laptop) I researched EFI on Debian a little, and there’s tons of
documentation where this is mentioned and specifically how proud
Debian is of supporting this since version X (squeeze IIRC), so
I’d at least put it into the release notes.

Say, do we have i386 release notes for trixie then?
If not (and perhaps even if), might also make sense to document
the state of i386 support in the amd64 release notes as well as
people tend to include that there as foreign arch.
