Hi, ok this bug is by now pretty old. I just tried it with running vym 2.9.31 (Qt 5, part of testing and unstable) and vym 2.9.576 (Qt 6, experimental) running under sway (wayland). With both versions I can not reproduce the issue.
Is there still anyone using one of those current vym versions and still has this problem? If yes it would be awesome if you could provide some more input about the environment you run. Sven
