This is a reasonable feature request, yes.

Currently, the upload log file is created after *all* the package files
have successfully uploaded. And this fact is required, to have that upload
log file as a signal: If the file exists at all, the upload is complete
(all files uploaded).

So, we would need to re-write the logic to preserve that behaviour, while
also recording the upload completion timestamp of each file, for later
writing to the file when all the uploads are complete.
