Package: cgroup-tools
Version: 3.1.0-2
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
We are experiencing intermittent segmentation faults in cgrulesengd due
to a bug in cgroup_config_create_template_group(). The issue appears to
stem from improper handling of controller arrays in cgroup templates,
which may lack NULL termination, leading to invalid memory access.
This has been documented in detail upstream here:
https://github.com/libcgroup/libcgroup/issues/483
The problem persists in libcgroup versions 3.1 and 3.2.
Please, consider backporting the upstream fix, when available.
