Hello Paul. Quick update:
I uploaded a package to Experimental which disables the post-compile tests, and that package built successfully on all Debian architectures.
Someone found a code bug and made a patch for MLMMJ 1.5.0 and I've uploaded another package to Experimental and re-enabled the post-compile tests, after which the package tests fail on i386 for 2 particular tests.
