Hi,
The problem that Richard is reporting is that the release-notes in git
is broken because it declares debhelper compat level in two difference
places.
I suspect
https://salsa.debian.org/ddp-team/release-notes/-/commit/9aeb39b51d3a307fbd1b9cdfacb933e5c9933bb7
as the faulty commit (it should also have deleted debian/compat).
Probably, the release-notes CI should also be updated to test the
package build to catch similar regression in the future. :)
