Like I said - for me the rust-glib build (with a freshly re-built
librust-gobject-sys-dev) worked. The gobject-sys diff was identical to yours,
that's why I didn't repeat it but just said so ;)
I just retried, and now it fails (with or without nocheck), so maybe I did
something wrong the first time I tried (logs are gone already). In any case it
is clear what the problem is, and also how to solve it I think :)
