Since I last updated my system, I am not able to unlock SSH keys protected with a passphrase that requires me to use the dead keys in my keyboard layout (en-US international). When I press any dead key, it is just ignored, so it looks like it's waiting for the next key press and the error can only be seen if I click on the icon to show the password. This can cause serious issues for users that rely on the GUI to unlock their keys. -- System Information: Debian Release: 13.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (50, 'unstable'), (10, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.12.27-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_IE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_IE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages gcr depends on: ii dbus-user-session [default-dbus-session-bus] 1.16.2-2 ii dconf-gsettings-backend [gsettings-backend] 0.40.0-5 ii gcr4 4.4.0.1-3 ii libc6 2.41-7 ii libgcr-base-3-1 3.41.2-3 ii libgcr-ui-3-1 3.41.2-3 ii libglib2.0-0t64 2.84.1-2 ii libgtk-3-0t64 3.24.49-3 gcr recommends no packages. gcr suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
