Oh dear. There really is nothing more to *my* reproducing it than what I've said: 1. from the shell, type "sol" and hit enter. 2. Aisleriot comes up showing the game last played, which right now is "Zebra" 3. I hit the "select game" button on the toolbar, and a list of solitaire games pops up in a smaller window. 4. I select one and hit OK, and all the windows immediately die, and the error messages above go to the console, after which I'm back at a shell prompt. I'm running etch on AMD64, had used this program successfully within 24 hours of when I ran into this problem, and in the intervening time had done some package upgrading via apt-get. So maybe there's some package version incompatibility that wasn't caught? -c -- Chris Metzler [EMAIL PROTECTED] (remove "snip-me." to email) "As a child I understood how to give; I have forgotten this grace since I have become civilized." - Chief Luther Standing Bear
