control: tags -1 + moreinfo unreproducible Having reviewed the messages so far in this bug report, it's clear that something different is happening when logcheck runs under the systemd timer/service, but not cron. However, we don't have a reproducer yet.
Since this weekend I've now got four servers upgraded to trixie that use exim4 with stock Debian config for email delivery, and I haven't seen this issue running logcheck from the systemd service. One server started life as bullseye, two as bookworm, and one is a fresh install. As this was a late change to logcheck for the trixie release cycle (sorry, -ENOTIME and logcheck hadn't been giving me any trouble so it wasn't high on my priority list), I purposefully didn't bring in any changes to its logic or behavior, with the exception of properly respecting the "-t" flag, but that's not relevant to this issue. The new service definition is as simple and direct a translation of the crontab as you can get. In theory it should be a drop-in replacement, although as we've seen in #1106030 there are some small differences. Mathias
