I recently uploaded asymptote 3.03 to Debian unstable. Unfortunately the build fails for now on mips64el, when mipsel-osuosl-05 or mipsel-osuosl-03 are selected as building machine [1]. These are "Quad Core Loongson 3A4000", the others are "Quad Core Loongson 3A3000", so I suspect a deeper issue, which needs to addressed in the future.
