No, the outdated reference was removed.
I suggest that it be added. The alternative is for the user to find out that
the geographiclib-get-* scirpts exist, what they do and how they should be
invoked. Sure, it's nothing blocking, that's why I marked this bug report as
minor. However, I think that something basic like this should be documented.
I suggests you get involved in package maintenance and become the change you
want to see in the world.
I'm not spending my time duplicating upstream documentation in packages I don't
actually use.
Your time is better spent reading the documentation to help you resolve issues,
though.
