Since systemd 251.4-2, the /etc/resolv.conf link has been a relative symlink to /run. https://salsa.debian.org/systemd-team/systemd/-/commit/5d8a69933df0e9ce9e02ff07baed916ddc5af35e Debian policy recommends absolute symbolic links when traversing between top-level directories: https://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-files.html#symbolic-links I see the maintainer script accepts both possibilities, was there a reason for not going with the recommendation?
