Package: nvidia-kernel-source Version: 1.0.8762-2 Severity: important After upgrading the nvidia driver (using module-assistant), watching tv no longer works: in xawtv I have sound but no video (only black screen/window). When switching to the "nv" driver in /etc/X11/xorg.conf, xawtv works fine.
I should also mention, that with nvidia driver version 1.0.7676-2.sarge.0_i386 from http://people.debian.org/~rdonald/nvidia/ in combination with linux-image 2.6.15 from testing and xorg 6.9 everything used to work fine. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (200, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16-2-k7 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages nvidia-kernel-source depends on: ii debhelper 5.0.35 helper programs for debian/rules ii dpatch 2.0.20 patch maintenance system for Debia ii make 3.81-2 The GNU version of the "make" util ii sed 4.1.5-1 The GNU sed stream editor Versions of packages nvidia-kernel-source recommends: ii devscripts 2.9.20 Scripts to make the life of a Debi pn kernel-package <none> (no description available) ii nvidia-glx 1.0.8762-2 NVIDIA binary XFree86 4.x driver -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
