Please schedule a binNMU for python-onewire, so the buildinfo picks
up the fixed owfs-common. Thanks!
nmu python-onewire_0.2-2+b3 . ANY . unstable . -m "Rebuild with fixed
owfs-common"
Could you please provide more context why this rebuild is needed? From
the changelog of owfs-common I cannot deduce that myself.
Sure. owfs 3.2p4+dfsg1-4.6 fixes a bug making installing owfs-common
fail outright. Specifically preinst aborts, because owfs-common does
not Pre-Depends: adduser; I think this class of bugs was made
visible by apt no longer having Depends: adduser.
python-onewire Build-Depends libow-dev, pulling in owfs-common.
reproduce.debian.net, when installing Build-Depends for
python-onewire, hits the preinst failure.
To get the fixed owfs-common, it needs to be listed in the
python-onewire buildinfo.
Hope this makes sense.
