Dear Maintainer,

Why has gip been removed from Bookworm ?

I just installed it from Bullseye repos, installation went fine and gip
works fine. Also, all dependencies have been installed from Bookworm, so
it doesn't appear that gip has been removed because it relies on older
packages.

So, why has it been rempved ? It's a useful tool...
