Package: libjs-bootstrap5
Version: 5.3.5+dfsg-1
Severity: normal

Hello,

thanks for packaging bootstrap!

Looking at the documentation[1] under "Using Bootstrap as a module",
it's possible to do things like `import { Dropdown } from "bootstrap"`,
but it requires loading `bootstrap.esm[.min].js` instead of
`bootstrap[.min].js`.

Unfortunately, bootstrap as packaged in Debian does not ship the ESM
version. It would be lovely to have it, to be able to use a more modern
and clean version of JavaScript now that it's quite widely available.

Thank you,

Enrico
