Dear Maintainer, Current libvoikko version does not support LTO. A proposed packaging change would disable it even if the build settings would enable LTO by default. Meanwhile, upstream has updated the source code with changes that make it compatible with LTO, but has not yet released a new version. This bug is to remind that once a new upstream version is available, it can be uploaded to Debian post-trixie, and the added lto removal option can be removed from packaging at the same time, and then the source would be also syncable to Ubuntu overriding current LTO disabling distro specific change there.
