Package: linux-image-amd64
Version: 6.12.12-1~bpo12+1
Severity: serious
Tags: ftbfs
Justification: fails to build from source
X-Debbugs-Cc: 1090...@bugs.debian.org, billiardmar...@snarkjaeger.ch

This is the same as bug 1090964 except for kernel version and hardware.
Environment is MX Linux MX-26.3, amd64, Xfce, based on Debian 12 Bookworm.
Attempting to upgrade default 6.1 kernel with 6.12 from Bookworm backports
directory.

Reported in hope that data about another instance of the problem will help in
resolving it. Problem is not critical for me (though I'd be happy with a more
recent kernel). Problem reported also to MX project.

Information about install and system environment (gathered by MX QSI tool,
sorry)
follow.

Regards

b.
