Package: amavisd-new
Version: 20030616p10-5
Severity: normal

I'm using a postgresql database to look up policy settings, using this line
for the connection:

@lookup_sql_dsn =
  ( ['DBI:Pg:host=127.0.0.1;dbname=mail', 'user', 'pass'] );

Whenever postgresql is restarted, the connection dies, and no attempt is
made to reconnect apparently. So whenever I or apt restart postgresql, I
need to remember to restart amavis, which is somewhat annoying (at least it
is when I forget).

(And now to convince my terminal to work with danish letters, so I can type
my name correctly. But thats a different story)
